Regular Season Round 16: Ostrava - Vysoka 105-78

There was a minor upset when 7th rankedVysoka (4-12) was outleveled on the road by tenth ranked Ostrava (3-13) 105-78 on Sunday. Ostrava shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 52.9 percentage. The winners were led by guard Jakub Mrstak (179-2006) who scored that evening 33 points (!!!) and 5 assists and swingman Simon Cermak (192-2006) supported him with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Ostrava's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 16 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) by power forward Dominik Stepan (207-1998, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for Vysoka . Forward Vladimir Vondra (206-2002, college: Northwest JC) added 13 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Four Vysoka players scored in double figures. Ostrava moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Olomouc Bbal. Vysoka lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Pardubice.
